How we check our readings
Astrology is a traditional practice. We cannot prove it, and we do not pretend to. What we can do is show our working, so you can see why a reading says what it says and decide for yourself.
🔎 Every reading starts from a fact in your chart
A reading is built from facts you can look at: which sign and house a planet sits in, which planets rule which houses, which planets are together or look at each other. Where we explain a reading, a “Why this?” link shows the planets behind it and where they sit in your kundli.
In the health reading, each of these facts is checked a second time, by a separate piece of code that works from your chart’s own positions. A fact that does not hold is left out of the reading and out of the remedies chosen from it.
🤫 We say little when there is little
Many charts show few signs worth pointing out. When that is so, we say so, instead of inventing a worry to fill the page. A concern is raised only when more than one sign in the chart supports it; a single sign is listed as “not enough evidence”.
🧮 How the calculations are done and checked
Planetary positions are computed for your birth date, time and place on the sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri ayanamsa, using the mean lunar node for Rahu and Ketu and whole-sign houses. Other tools can differ because they choose other settings; that is a difference of setting, not necessarily an error.
We also run our own checks on the engine: the ayanamsa against a published value, the lunar node against an independent formula, and saved charts for contradictions such as a sign that does not match its longitude.
🔬 How we test methods, honestly
If you choose to, you can share life events (such as a marriage date) so that traditional methods can be tested against what really happened. This is optional, needs your explicit consent, can be withdrawn at any time, and never changes your reading.
Results are shown only as measurements against simple baselines, with the unknown outcomes counted. We are still collecting this evidence. No method has been shown to be accurate, and we publish no accuracy figure.
🚫 What we do NOT claim
- We do not claim that a reading is accurate, and we give no accuracy percentage.
- We do not promise or predict that any event will happen.
- We do not diagnose, name diseases from planets, or promise a cure. A reading is never medical, legal or financial advice. Please see a qualified doctor for any health concern, and never stop or change a medicine because of anything here.
- Remedies are optional and safe. We do not tell you to buy a gemstone, to fast, or to pay anyone.
- Some of our scoring settings and wording are our own initial choices and are still being reviewed by experts. That is one more reason we show no accuracy figures.
